Pill checks are usually reviewed at the time when the medication is re-authorised. There is a report to identify patients who have been issued the COCP or Pill and haven’t had a review / pill check in the last 1 year (or haven’t just started the pill).

To find this report, go to Clinical Reporting > Ardens > Prescribing> Alerts | Women's Health > ?Review CHC or POP as on repeat, started > 1y ago + no pill check in the last 1y..

When you open a patients record and if they are on contraception, they will have the female icon under their name. This alert will show if the patient has been issued the CHC or POP in the last year or if they have an Implant, IUD or LNG-IUS in situ. Clicking this icon should open up the appropriate contraceptive template and tab, e.g. the CHC review check below.
