The Menorrhagia / Heavy menstrual bleeding template can be found under Auto Consultation - Ardens CONDITIONS Womens Health.

This template can also be saved on your F12 Favourite screen if required.

The template is split into 6 tabs; Home, Consultation, Formulary, Causes, Referral and Resources.

Home Tab

This contains useful patient information, to learn more about the Home tab please see our Home Tab Support Article for more details.

Consultation Tab

This tab is split into 3 sections; Assessment, Impression and Management.

Assessment - In this section you can record any consent, findings and concerns along with numerics on the right hand side.  Any red flags can also considered in this section, along with a link to the causes tab and other useful templates like the pregnancy likelihood, smear and gynae cancer templates.

Impression - This section allows you to code any diagnosis.

Management - Depending on the either Menorrhagia + no concerns or Menorrhagia + concerns, the relevant Management plan will be lit up for next steps whether it be advice, blood tests or swab, ultrasound or referrals.

Menorrhagia / HMB - Formulary Tab

This allows the clinician to prescribe any medication required  with a view of the patients current medication at the bottom along with right click options to prescribe.  

Causes Tab

This allows you to record record any red flags, uterine and ovarian causes, systemic, other or rare.  There are useful shortcuts to relevant templates next to some of the causes, especially the possible cancer template.

Referral Tab

If a referral is required, the applicable referral process can be recorded in this tab along with the relevant referral criteria and next steps highlighted 

Resources Tab

If any resources need to be given to the patient, useful weblinks are available and the ability to copy and paste these into a text message or email for the patient.
