There may be times you will need to use a template twice for two separate events during one consultation - for example, using the 'Wound Management' template to record Wound Care for more than one wound for a patient. 

Open a consultation, and then open up an Ardens template as usual via your F12 key using an Ardens template launcher protocol (alternatively, you could select Run Template from the ribbon within an open consultation). 

For this example, we will use the 'Wound Management and Leg Ulcers' template.

Fill out the template for the first wound as normal, and then once completed,  Save Template and Save the consultation.

   

If the patient is being treated for a second wound, this needs to be recorded in a new consultation, as opposed to using the Next Problem option. This is mainly to ensure that reporting on the number of procedures recorded is captured accurately. Therefore, the above process would need to be repeated for each subsequent wound.

This can be used for any template where more than one of the same procedure has to be done during the same consultation, such as drug injections, minor surgery procedures etc.
