Local Enhanced Services - Ardens Plus & Pro only

Ardens Plus & Pro provides templates and reports for any local enhanced services or GP service level agreements and contracts, as agreed between the ICS/CCG and GP Practices. If an Enhanced Service Specification specifies particular SNOMED codes for practices to use, if a number of codes exist which have the same meaning then all these codes should be included in this specification. An example is ‘asthma review’ and 'asthma monitoring’. This is similar to how QOF clusters work and are used. This will ensure that the codes used on the Ardens templates are identified in any required reports. For further information, see this support article.

The ICS/CCG should nominate a key Contract Staff Member who will liaise with Ardens with any local enhanced service matters. It is the responsibility of this person to notify Ardens where any differences exist, so that changes by Ardens can then be made. Please contact local-contracts@ardens.org.uk for any local enhanced service matters.

Local Referral Forms – Ardens Pro only

Ardens Pro provides a comprehensive database of Local Referral Forms Local services will include hospital, community and mental health services. Referrals will include urgent 2 week wait referrals, routine referrals and prior approval referrals. If Ardens Pro has been purchased any referral forms that Ardens currently hold will be included in the initial deployment unless Ardens are specifically asked not to include these with our initial deployment. If Ardens are asked to delay deployment of referral forms the CCG must undertake to forward us all current referral forms in Word format within 10 weeks of deployment of our resources.

The ICB/CCG should nominate a key Referral Service Staff Member who will liaise with Ardens with any referral service matters. It is the responsibility of this person to notify Ardens where any differences exist, so that changes by Ardens can then be made. Please contact documents@ardens.org.uk for any referral service matters.

Local Formularies - Ardens Pro SystmOne only (not supported on EMIS)

Where local formularies differ from national guidelines, Ardens Pro localises a number of specific formulary templates to reflect this, subject to clinical governance. For further information about how formularies are localised, see this support article.

The ICS/CCG should nominate a key Medicines Management Staff Member who will liaise with Ardens with any formulary matters. It is the responsibility of this person to notify Ardens where any differences exist, so that changes by Ardens can then be made. Please contact medicines-systmone@ardens.org.uk with any formulary matters.
